The Sawdust Fight

It all starts out as we were sweeping up sawdust left from my dad building cabinets for the new clinic.

When we were all finished, we (our house girl’s daughters Ruth and Siwe and I) swept all our piles together. It was really big.

It was too tempting to leave it alone.

So we got big handfuls of it and ran to our own different hiding spots.

Then when we spied each other, we would throw it.

One handful from Siwe went right down the back of my shirt. It tickled!

I took my handful, and thinking it was Siwe…It was Ruth! I threw it on her by mistake. I meant to get Siwe.

Ruth then threw her handful down my shirt. I got it again.

Good thing this sawdust fight was in the grass, so we didn’t have to sweep it up again.
