Monkey Lunch

Sunday at Guava Gallery (a restaurant) we had a crazy experience! We were eating outside with some other missionary kids when an unexpected visitor came.

My friend Kylea said, “Levi, look, there’s a monkey behind you!”

Levi’s response was, “Yeah right,” thinking she was playing a trick on him.

Kaden (Kylea’s brother) shouted, “Watch out!” while covering his ears.

Levi then looked behind him… (I was running by then.)

There was a monkey! Levi then screamed, “Monkey!!” We all ran away.

The monkey then ate our lunch! (How rude!)

The owner of the restaurant came out with his sling-shot to shoot the monkeys which were at this point on the roof. The monkeys ran and jumped, and one doggie came out and started going wild.

What a crazy day!

i saw those monkeys on the roof one time when we were out there. i thought they were afraid to come close to people. guess i was wrong!

you were smart to get away from them. they probably know you are just kids and that they could steal your lunch.

    cheeky monkeys!

What a trip? I have enjoyed reading the blogs from you guys. Having monkeys eat your food would be great expecially if the food on your place was not what you wanted in the first place.
